After more than fifteen years as a senior manager for non-profit and public organizations in the economic development sector, Linda was ready to share her know-how in other sectors.
This is why in 2004, Linda Savard established her boutique consulting firm to share her knowledge of organizational management, strategic planning and governance. She wishes to provide her clients with the necessary tools and knowledge, so that they build on their success at the end of the consulting assignment. Advising, training and empowering clients – that’s what makes her tick.
Since starting her boutique consulting firm, Linda has managed and facilitated over twenty strategic planning sessions for organizations of varying sizes and in many different sectors including education, art, health, and in economic development. She has also worked with her team to carry out many labour market studies, business plans and exploratory research projects in the national capital region, and elsewhere in Ontario and in Canada.
Linda holds a masters in business administration from the University of Ottawa, a certificate in tourism management from l’école supérieure de commerce de Paris, as well as a certificate in economic development from the University of Waterloo in Ontario. She has been recognized by her peers on a number of occasions - she received the Ordre de la Pléiade de l’Assemblée Parlementaire de la francophonie in 2013, the Ordre des francophones d’Amérique in 2003, and became an honorary member of the Assemblée de la francophonie in 2008.
Linda has always been very involved in her community. Alternately, sitting on the board of directors of the Franco-Ontarian Festival and a number of its specialized committees, the Montfort Hospital and the University of Ottawa. She was elected as a school trustee in 2010 and currently sits as the President of the Conseil scolaire des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario since 2015.
